Lisa is joined by Lolita Carrico who is passionate about KETO and it goes way beyond losing weight.  Lolita talks about KETO and her new book, Keto Carbs Cookbook for Beginners: Favorites Made Low Carb to Kick-Start Your Diet.

About Lolita Carrico: 

A certified nutritionist and home chef with a love for entertaining and experimenting with food, Lolita Carrico created Ketology after struggling for years with her own hormonal changes and weight gain. After having two children, she found that managing her weight and mood became more and more of a struggle. 

After researching the ketogenic diet thoroughly and understanding the science and nutritional aspects, she began her keto journey in 2018. Within three months, she found that she not only shed 25 pounds of stubborn fat, but her mood improved and her focus sharpened.

A self-proclaimed nerd, she poured herself even deeper into the science of Ketosis and specifically why it is such an important way of life for women, especially women approaching or over 40 years old. Despite a busy career running her own marketing agency, she then decided to get certified in the field of nutrition to further understand how our bodies interact with food and its effects on our health.
